For our client in the direct surroundings of Oosterhout Nijmegen we are looking for an Assistant Buyer, preferably with the knowledge of the Chinese Language.

The Job! You take care of the administrative support of the fabrics account. In close cooperation with the buyer, you take care of the administration:
The timely production & delivery of cotton, viscose and polyester cloth from China and Pakistan, among others
The planning and communication for the optimization of stock in coordination with other departments (Finance, Logistics and Sales)
Processing and checking the purchasing administration (prices, technical specs, stock etc.) in the ERP system (Axapta, Navision)
Control and processing of invoices for your account in association with the buyer
Quality control and testing of purchased substances
Composition of own collections (2x per year) in association with stylist and sales
Maintenance of various fabric archives is the responsibility of the buyer and departmental assistant
Your Profile:
A completed Mbo+ / Hbo training in Procurement or an Administrative / Logistical direction
Knowledge of and/or affinity with materials is an advantage
You have a command of English in word and writing and have experience with MS Office and MS Dynamics (or an ERP package)
You have excellent social and communication skills that you demonstrate both within the company and to suppliers
You work in a structured and disciplined way. You identify, take initiative and adopt a pro-active attitude
